Stay Active During Ramadan –Exercise Leaflet Available 🌙

Ramadan is a time of reflection and community, and it’s also important to look after your physical health. Staying active during Ramadan can support heart health, strength, metabolism, and overall wellbeing.

We are sharing a helpful leaflet with guidance on safe and effective exercise during Ramadan. The leaflet has been put together by medical students Idrees and Rehan 👏, and includes:

  • Low-impact activities such as walking, yoga and Tai Chi

  • Tips on the best times to exercise while fasting (for example, before suhoor or after iftar)

  • Local community activity options, including women-only sessions

The leaflet also encourages people to start small and aim for regular activity throughout the week.
