The Family Hub offers a wide range of services to support families, focusing on early intervention and assistance from conception up to the age of 19 (and up to 25 for those with special educational needs and disabilities – SEND). Here’s a summary of what they provide:
- Infant Feeding Support: Includes breastfeeding and bottle-feeding assistance, with group sessions and one-on-one support.
- Perinatal Mental Health & Parent-Infant Relationships: Programs like Mums Matter and Dads in Mind offer mental health support for new parents.
- Home Learning Environment & Early Language Support: Groups like Peep-A-Boo and Tots ‘n’ Tunes to enhance early language development.
- Parenting Support: Programs like Triple P and Strengthening Families provide guidance for parents with children from 0-18 years.
- Parent Carer Panels: Enable parent involvement in service improvement through feedback and leadership.
- Family Hub Early Help: Offers direct, hands-on support for families in need, including home visits and tailored guidance.
- Wider Services: Cover a variety of needs, including:
- Domestic abuse support
- Debt and welfare advice
- Housing and health support
- Youth justice services
- SEND services
- Substance misuse help
- Baby Bank (for essential items)
- Oral health services and vitamin distribution
- Free mediation for separated parents
