Children – All children aged between 2 and 3 years of age are being offered a flu vaccination via a nasal spray unless otherwise indicated due to medical conditions.
Please note Primary school aged children will be receiving this vaccination as part of the school programme. If you require any further information about your child receiving this vaccine please call the surgery and make an appointment to see one of our nurses who will be happy to discuss with you any concerns or questions you may have.
Anti-pneumonia jab – In addition, if you are aged 65 or over or are in one of the ‘at risk’ groups outlined above you should have an anti-pneumonia jab. If you have not had an anti-pneumonia vaccination please ask the nurse about this.

If you are attending the clinic please wear a face covering and adhere to our social distancing measures. If you are experiencing any of the following please do not attend our flu clinic.
1. A high temperature
2. A new continuous cough
3. A loss of taste or smell.
Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.
